NW Latin American Solidarity Conference

Friday, April 9th, Jesse Freeston of the Real News Network will be speaking on his highly acclaimed video journalism reports he produced on the fraudulent Honduran elections, at 7pm at Evergreen Seminar 2 E1107. Throughout Saturday, April 10th, in Sem2 E1107, we will host more than 8 workshops covering diverse topics and will finish the day with author Carlos Martinez discussing his book "Venezuela Speaks! Voices from the Grassroots," at 4pm in Evergreen Seminar 2 E1107. That evening we are dancing our butts off at the "Quincenero Drag Dance Party" at the Eagles Hall. On Sunday we will have more than 4 more workshops in the morning followed by Father Roy Bourgeois of SOA Watch speaking at 2pm in Lecture Hall 1. Through out the weekend we will have times when we all come together for larger facilitated meetings to work on the main goals of the conference.

Any proposals for workshops, panels or skill shares need to be submitted by March 19th. Please register by going to the link below to fill out the registration form.
