Part of The "Venezuela Talks!" Free Film Festival: People, Politics, and Alternatives to Capitalism
Tells various stories of the Venezuelan Revolution. The filmmakers from Hands Off Venezuela take us on a journey to visit worker-occupied factories and to the barrios to see how the urban poor live and how they are changing their neighborhoods due to the revolution and community organizing. The revolution is brought to life in a combination of action that gives us real insight into the process that takes place and the challenges that lie ahead.
Join Evergreen students returning from Venezuela to discuss important film that address Venezuelan people, politics and alternatives to capitalism.
